Metrobank Credit Card Toyota Mastercard offers 10% discount on all Toyota parts and service

Metrobank Toyota Mastercard Credit Card
A couple of weeks ago, I received at home a mail. Surprised upon opening the envelope, it was a brand new Metrobank credit card. A Toyota mastercard to exactly describe it. After a couple more days, I suddenly receive a phone call in my mobile phone from a customer service (probably from Metrobank) asking me if I received the said Toyota mastercard from Metrobank which was said to have been mailed to me.

I didn't deny it. Immediately, I said that yes I did get the Toyota mastercard. Upon confirming, the CSR or customer service representative asked me a second question which is if I am willing to activate the card. Well, of course I told her, yes and then afterwards asking me for some details regarding the card. I about a 5-minute talk, the card was said to have been activated.

Prior to the actual activation process and the interview, I already had plans to activate it myself because just in time, I have a new Toyota Yaris with me under a car loan and I intend to have the car scheduled for a 5 kilometer maintenance checkup so I said just in time for receiving a Toyota mastercard.

A couple of days ago, I was able to use the said card and yes, it paid off for me as I was able to use it in Toyota Makati where I had my car under a 5 kilometer general checkup and maintenance plus replacement of pars. Supposedly, it was to cost me more than 5 thousand pesos but since I have the Metrobank credit card (Toyota Mastercard), the parts and service section only charged me with a little bit less than 4.5k. Indeed, a 10 % discount was given to me for both parts and service combined and I'm glad I had the card activated.

Please note that I didn't apply for this credit card to have it. It must've come from the bank where I had an account with at the Metrobank Lacson branch where a school mate, Ricky Sarmiento was bank manager. I t so happened that I had a good credit standing with the bank as well as ample amount of maintaining balance to have paid all my Metrobank credit card bills paid just on time via auto-debit mode enrollment.
